GOVERNOR'S ARTS GALA
See
Saskatchewan Shine! On May 19 a unique gathering of artistic talent
will take place at Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon. The gala will
provide an opportunity to showcase Saskatchewan's talented artists
in front of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II.
Andrea
Menard, Brad Johner, the Amati Quartet, John Arcand and, another
first, Saskatchewan's Centennial Orchestra (members of the RSO and
SSO), to name but a few, will all be spotlighted in this nationally
broadcast event.
The
gala features more than just performing arts and will include literary
artists like Lorna Crozier and visual artists Joe Fafard, Vic Cicansky
and Douglas Bentham.
